School: Week Ten

With this post, I am happy to say that we are all caught up.  It seems that our house wasn't the only thing shifting a few weeks ago. The house leveling fiasco knocked us off our rhythm, and it's taken a few weeks to catch up.

Leona has mastered the step stool and loves getting herself ready for the day.

Her first stop, every morning.  The day can't begin until she's read through every book on her shelf.
Beatrice setting the table for lunch outside.  Sidenote:  "Oh Mama!  My boots!  I knew I had high heel shoes somewhere!"

The weather this week has been spectacular.  We are spending as much time outside as possible.  Leona is  increasingly brave and speedy, so I don't get many pictures.

With the seasons changing, we've been experimenting with our schedule.  The schoolroom is on the southwest side of the house, so light like this only comes in the afternoon.

Beatrice illustrated the lifecycle of a butterfly.

Enjoying The Children of the Forest.

Painting.  Always painting.
