School: Week Seven

Leona enjoys one of our many versions of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Good old texture dominos continue to captivate.

Leona thumbs through Squirrel Nutkin.

If you ever begin to notice a distinct lack of pictures, it's because they all look like this.  My little artist spends about 75% of her school time painting or drawing.

Haba Sticky Blocks.

Leona discovered the magic of indoor plumbing this week.  On and off, on and off, up the stool, down the stool, up the stool, water on, water off, paper towels!

Lacing tree.  This is challenging for Beatrice, but she perseveres because she loves the little animals (birds, squirrels, and foxes).  She makes up wonderful stories about them as she laces.

Making sweet potato fries!

This week Beatrice asked if she could have her own Bible with "real pages".  We went to Half Price Books and picked one out that fits her little hands.  She read 1Kings to me all the way home.

Sigh.  Our floors are going to be like this for a while.  At least one of us is entertained.
